Throughout the years, deBRETAGNE has taken an active part in society using the medium of art to promote equality, diversity and activism. Although inspired by renaissance art, deBRETAGNE is mostly a post modern impressionist working in painting, sculpture and small scale art installation.

A contemplation on the issue of white privilege, an unsolved systemic problem that imprisons the mind and beats empathy to a pulp. If you look closely, you can see the skeleton of a person engulfed by a shadow of a shell barely making up the shape of a human. As it is in nature, the inside is the same for all, regardless of how one looks on the outside.
